The Old School House (TOSH) Workshop May 25-27, 2011 - Class Pictures:

This 3 day workshop was great fun - a pleasant group of students at various skill levels all interested in enjoying the experience.

We began with a discussion of proportions followed by a black & white demo to bring to mind the basic concepts of tonal values. The class then worked on their own black & white portrait. On day two we moved onto a color pallette and started with a demo by David and an ongoing discussion and question and answer period as he worked. Students worked on a color portrait in day two then moved on to another colour portrait, mainly 3/4 length on day three.
